May 15. NC Attorney General Josh Stein will speak at the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce PowerLuncheon May 23 at Northstone Country Club. The Democratic nominee for Governor will be speaking on “The State of the Business Environment in North Carolina.”
He is expected to touch on how North Carolina is a great state to start a business; the state’s finance and technology centers; the role of the Governor’s office in driving business; and his vision of the state of North Carolina over the next four years.

The luncheon, which starts at 11:45 am, is presented by Redline Property Partners. Supporting sponsors include Piedmont Federal Savings Bank, Business Today/Cornelius Today and WSIC.
Northstone Country Club is located at 15801 Northstone Drive in Huntersville.
Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate for governor, has been invited to speak at another chamber luncheon this summer.

Background
Stein is an attorney and politician who serves as the 51st AG of North Carolina. He previously was a member of the North Carolina Senate representing the 16th district, located in Wake County.
Stein earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Dartmouth College in 1988. After college, he taught English and economics in Zimbabwe. Stein then went on to earn degrees from Harvard Law School and the Kennedy School of Government.
