March 20. Visit Lake Norman, the local convention and visitors bureau, debuted its first destination marketing video recently at the annual awards luncheon at the Peninsula Yacht Club. The video highlights signature attractions, events, lake activities and dining in Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville.
The destination marketing video is part of VLN’s sales and marketing plan. The video will be featured on the VLN website, social media outlets and incorporated in future event bids. The video is about three minutes long; there’s also a 60-second version.
“Visitors and locals alike can visualize the sights and sounds the Lake Norman area has to offer with our destination video,” states Cyndi Bartley, VLN marketing director. “We are so proud to recognize the amazing assets our hospitality partners bring to the community.” The video took more than a year to create and was produced by My Creative Team, a local video production company based in Huntersville.
