April 29. A new event called “Township Connections” will be held at Cornelius Town Hall from 2 pm to 4:30 pm May 8. Designed for owners of small-to-mid-size businesses in Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville, the free events includes information on how to start a business, access capital and find helpful experts.
Mecklenburg County staff, including the Office of Economic Development, will share information about:
Small business loans and access to capital.
Government contracting certifications and upcoming contracting opportunities.
Registering as a Mecklenburg County vendor to do business with the County.
Networking with other business owners.
Representatives from the towns of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, and Lake Norman Economic Development, will also be available to share additional resources.
