Noov. 27. RXO, a high-tech freight transportation broker, is investing $13.7 million more in its Ballantyne operations. It means 216 new jobs over the next several years.

With proximity to key interstates, rail andd an international airport, Charlotte offers a primo environment for a broker of full-truckload freight.

RXO’s growth plans will increase the company’s current statewide headcount from 759 full-time employees to 975. The new jobs will pay an average of $89,769 a year. RXO currently has 647 people at its headquarters in Charlotte.
