100 local maintenance workers and custodians at Central Piedmont Community College were surprised with gifts / Photos by Rubbermaid

March 25. Huntersville-based Rubbermaid Commercial Products honored 100 local maintenance workers and custodians at Central Piedmont Community College on Monday, surprising them with gifts and recognizing their hard work. Held during Employee Appreciation Month, the event was part of a larger company initiative that aims to highlight the impact that maintenance workers, custodians, and building operations personnel have on some of our most important systems/facilities, like healthcare and education. Each worker received a bag full of gifts that will help them during their work day iincluding comfortable shoes for foot support, headphones for entertainment, a water bottle for hydration etc.
