Rick Eveson is the new executive vice president, chief operations and compliance officer at Cornelius-based Aquesta Bank. Eveson, who has led Aquesta’s consumer lending business for the past six years, will be responsible for oversight of all regulatory compliance risks as well as deposit, IT and loan operations.

A graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo, he has more than 25 years of retail credit, risk management and sales experience within financial institutions of all asset sizes.

“I have been fortunate to work with Rick for over six years. His professionalism, attention to detail and ability to lead, make him a natural choice for this new role,” said Jim Engel, president and CEO of Aquesta.

Eveson has served as a board member of Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids, as well as director of baseball for the South Iredell Athletic Association.
