WHITAKER

Oct. 14. Allison Whitaker was named the executive director for Title I program services. She has been a director in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Title I department since 2015.

Whitaker was a school improvement coordinator in 2015 and a program administrator from 2011 to 2015 in the N.C. Department of Public Instruction.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Appalachian State University in Boone and a master’s degree in school administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
