Huntersville Mayor John Aneralla speaks at the ribbon-cutting

Aug. 26. It was four years in the making but Blythe Landing Self Storage has opened on Brown Mill Road just east of Beatties Ford Road at Hwy. 73 in Huntersville.

The developers are business partners Kimberly Sailors and Bob Watson, both of Cornelius.

Located on 10 acres, the 100,000-square-foot project has 150-200 spots for RV parking, as well as 550 climate-controlled and drive-up storage units, Watson said.

The facility also contains 10 executive offices for lease.

At the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting today, Mayor John Aneralla said the $6 million-plus project would benefit from continuing growth in Huntersville.
