Oct. 23. Jackie Thiel, formerly president of Long & Foster Real Estate, is the new president of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty which has 40 offices in Florida and North Carolina including one in Cornelius.

She will report directly to PSIR CEO Budge Huskey, who will continue to lead the company’s overall operations and strategy.

Thiel’s responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations. PSIR has more than 1,400 real estate advisors.

At Long & Foster, Thiel oversaw 200 offices and 9,000 agents across eight states.
