Sept. 17. Dennis Cowardin will become Vice President/Mortgage Sales Manager at Peoples Bank, upon the retirement of Kevin Brady in December 2024.

Cowardin has previously served in high-level financial roles, successfully leading top-producing sales teams.

He was the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 2016. Cowardin also co-founded the Falconer Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing arts and service scholarships since 2020.

Cowardin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College and a Business Management certification from Mitchell Community College.

Peoples has 16 banking offices in North Carolina, including Denver, Huntersville and Mooresville.
