Feb. 7. A group of investment advisors and staff has left Wells Fargo Advisors in Davidson to launch a fully independent practice.
Chris Davis, the founder of Davidson Wealth Management, says the practice plans to move into a new mixed-use project at 480 S. Main being built by Lake Forest Church. When completed late this year, it will be the permanent home of Davidson Wealth, which is now in temporary space in Langtree.
Davidson Wealth has also joined forces with &Partners, which provides the independence and tools to deliver robust financial planning solutions. In the past, big banks built their own financial planning tools. Specialized providers build better solutions, driving faster innovation, Davis explained.
Quotable
“Big firms struggle to keep pace with change. Take NASA—60 years ago, they put men on the moon, but today they couldn’t do that. Meanwhile, we just watched a Space X rocket booster land on what looks like a tuning fork. Financial services face similar rapid change, and we concluded our previous firm would be challenged to keep up,” Davis said.
New products
The partnership with &Partners connects Davidson Wealth to Fidelity, whose platform offers flexibility and fresh ideas. For example, they have multiple planning tools and can add new ones to help meet unique client needs.
“Ultimately, this partnership lets us focus on what matters most: Delivering thoughtful solutions and dependable service,” Davis said.
The Davidson Wealth team includes managing directors Christopher Senvisky, Michael Davis, Tod Wells and Michael Duggan; directors Karen Kight, Nicholas Androvich, Steve Giguere, Brent Hann; and Alex Cohen, director – investment strategy. Also on board are support staff including Susan Cohen, Kristen Senvisky, Paola Angeles, Lisa Scriba and Price Ashe.
Point of clarification, the new building at 480 S. Main is being developed by The Knox Group not the church. We are jointly developing the parking for both Storyhill Church and the 480 S Main building. Storyhill was formerly known as Lake Forest Davidson Campus.
