The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce will host a Regional Healthcare Summit featuring the CEOs of Atrium Health University City, Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, and Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center. The event will take place Thursday, Feb. 21 from 11:45 am to 2 pm at Northstone Country Club in Huntersville.
The event features William H. Leonard, president, Atrium Health University City; Stephen Midkiff, CEO, Lake Norman Regional Medical Center; and Michael Riley, president of Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center.
“Perhaps no single bigger human resource issue faces our small and corporate business community, than the cost of healthcare for our employees. The purpose of this summit is to allow those who attend access to our regional healthcare provider CEO’s to ask questions about this critical topic,” said Bill Russell, CEO of the Lake Norman Chamber.
While the chamber has preset questions, attendees will be encouraged to engage in an interactive discussion, a chamber press release said.
The summit will be moderated by 2018 Lake Norman Chamber Board Chair Joshua Dobi.
The cost to attend is $25 for chamber members and $35 for nonmembers and includes lunch. You can register online at LakeNormanChamber.org or call the chamber at 704-892-1922.
The summit is presented by MSC Industrial Supply in Davidson, as well as media sponsors Business Today/Cornelius Today and WSIC 107 FM/105.9 FM.
