Aug. 27. The Lake Norman Chamber will hold a diversity training session Thursday Sept. 3 at noon. Titled “Another Seat at the Table: What is Diversity and Inclusion Training and How it Can Help Your Organization,” the session will look at why the subject area is important for the community, organizations and how everyone can benefit from a diverse and inclusive workplace.  The speaker is Dan Houston, incoming chair of the chamber’s diversity council, as well as CEO of The 1750 Group Inc./Daniel Houston & Associates.  The program is limited to 10 people in person with all others participating in a ZOOM format.  RSVP by calling 704.892.1922
