Dec. 30. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Chamber of Commerce, contributed $31,072.64 to two local Lake Norman non-profit organizations providing pre- and after-school programming: Cornelius Early Scholars and the Lake Norman YMCA. The funds were raised through the foundation’s Thanksgiving breakfast. Each organization received $15,536.32.
