An evening of wine, cheese and chocolate Saturday, March 7 will benefit the Lance Shah Memorial Fund which advocates for the protection and humane treatment of animals. Created in memory of three-year-old Mooresville resident Lance Shah, the event at the Trump National Lakefront Ballroom also includes music from Jazzology. There will be a special announcement that evening of how the fund will make a difference in the lives of dogs and cats in our community. “We know that Lance would want us to help care for homeless pets, according to parents Joanna and Binit Shah. Executive Director of Friends of the Animals Patrice Reynolds said: “We acknowledge the family for keeping the memory of Lance alive by supporting the welfare of animals in our community. We can all work together to help save dogs and cats by finding them loving homes and advocating for their protection.” Tickets are $100 if registered by March 1st and can be purchased at http://www.lancefund.org/events/wine-cheese-chocolate-2015. After March 1, and at the door, tickets are $125 per person.
