July 7. Mary Kathryn Ewart has been appointed to serve on the Old Courthouse Theatre’s board of directors for a three-year term. Ewart, is a two-time Charlotte Rising Star finalist. Her mother, Becky Ewart, served on the board in the early 1990s, and her brother, Jonathan Ewart, is a two-time Metrolina Theatre Association award winner and the most recent recipient of OCT’s Mary Snead Boger Lifetime Achievement award.

The Old Courthouse Theatre, located at 49 Spring St. NW in Concord, is an all volunteer organization which presents various live theatrical shows throughout the year. They are in their 40th year of operation.
