Aug. 11. Eugene A. Woods, president and chief executive officer of Atrium Health, will receive the 2022 Gail L. Warden Leadership Excellence Award at a special event in November in Chicago.

The event honors a healthcare leader who has improved the health of the public through leadership and organizational excellence. Named for Gail L. Warden, founding chairman of NCHL, president emeritus of Henry Ford Health System, the award recognizes accomplishments in healthcare delivery, community wellness and health policy.
