March 21. Statesville-based EnergyUnited has landed an Energage 2024 Top Workplaces USA award. The Top Workplaces program has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations with more than150. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate; winners were chosen based on employee feedback.
The electricity cooperative has four core principles: Be safe, secure, present and member-focused.

Rarely does our power go out and when it does, it is always back on in less time than predicted. They are very quick to respond to outages and get crews on site ASAP.
Any time I have called, the customer service reps have been very friendly and helpful.
I am so happy to see that they won this award! I am considering moving out of this county, but I would not like to be a Duke Energy customer. Their power goes out frequently and stays off longer.
