May 11. Three years after entering North Carolina, JPMorgan Chase & Co. is dipping its toes in the Iredell County market.
The largest U.S. financial institution by total assets—$3.38 trillion—Chase has opened a 3,352 square foot branch at 185 Williamson Road, not far from the Brawley School peninsula and Lake Norman.
The state-of-the-art branch with three ATMs, including one drive-thru, is also the first Chase branch in Mooresville.
Back in 2019 Chase announced the opening of its first retail branch in North Carolina along with plans to add up to 40 new branches, creating 250 local jobs.
Kevin Capen was named branch manager in Mooresville.
Next up: A new branch in Charlotte, in Riverbend Village.
Chase opened a branch in Cornelius in 2020.
