  2. I am voting for Josh Stein for Governor. We need a level headed individual who can represent our State in a favorable manner. Robinson is a loose cannon who has said many terrible things about various constituencies in our state. He will bring nothing but divisiveness to North Carolina, which has historically been a State where we can work together across the aisle to accomplish great things. I assume he will clean up his speech for the chamber but you can google him and see the many divisive statements he has made. And, he is a hypocrite of the highest order, having paid for his wife to have an abortion while trying to deny all women any rights to reproductive freedom.

  3. Who could possibly want to listen to this subhuman speak about how women have no rights if they are pregnant. Even if the pregnancy was caused by incest and or rape. That it’s all a woman’s fault because we did not keep our skirts down.
Someone should put a large condom over his head.

    • Sometimes there are just no words for how stupid what you are saying is to those of us who do not wear blinders all the time about your own personal interest.
Probably are not even a born and bred North Carolinian. I can’t wait to hear this amazing man speak in person at this much anticipated event.

    • I agree with you. He is NOT a well informed person.. just listen to his remarks about the moon landing and the Holocaust and especially about women.

      • This man is horrid and should be not even be a lt.governor. He’s said exactly what the other post noted (he’s on tape!) and as you say, he’s a holocaust denier, tax evader and ran an awful day care putting children at risk. He’s out trying to sugar coat every thing now that trump is backing him. He’s a disgrace.

    • You really loved the opportunity to demonstrate your racism, didn’t you

    • I agree with you. That lowlife failed to mention in his background the aborted child he and Yolanda got rid because she failed to pull her skirt down. Sure wish I could vote NO a million times.

  4. He certainly has his right to be heard. I am not able to support a candidate who does not support women and their choices. I am shocked that anyone would make a comment about women & their skirts.

  7. Can we expect you to have Josh Stein at the next luncheon? Or are you only flying your partisan flag?

  8. Honestly???? What business person would pay money to hear this unhinged person? Wow, just wow.
Assuming you will also invite Josh Stein to speak at some point as well? (That’s a joke, know you won’t)

  9. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce is a non partisan organization which does not support or endorse political candidates though we do believe in the principles of good government. We were pleased to invite Josh Stein the Democratic Candidate and our Attorney General in May and now our Lt Governor and Republican Candidate August 15th Mark Robinson to provide their vision for our state. The strength of our community and nation lies in our ability to appreciate the differences in our views, and while we may not always agree, it is our diversity of thought that makes America stand apart from the other nations of the world.
