July 14. The Center for Digital Government (CDG) and the National Association of Counties (NACo) recently released annual survey results that highlighted the communities with the best technology usages to boost governmental efficiencies. In it’s population category, Cabarrus placed 7^th. Since 2012, Cabarrus has ranked in the top ten in this survey.

The CDG seeks to build global research capacity, to advance practice, and to strengthen the network of researchers and practitioners engaged in building and using technology in government. 
Their survey identifies the most innovative, pioneering and effective uses of technology in county governments.
