Jan. 9. By Dave Vieser. Brian Sisson, owner of the Range at Lake Norman in Cornelius, is the new chair of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce.

“The chamber will focus on two key elements this upcoming year: Maximizing the value of membership and embracing the power of technology to drive growth,” Sisson said.

He envisions achieving these goals by a number of chamber initiatives:

• Creating more value for members by offering  resources and networking opportunities.

• Encouraging businesses to adopt cutting edge technologies and streamline operations.

• Achieve stronger connections through both traditional and tech-enhanced networking opportunities.

• Provide tools, resources and knowledge to help businesses in the Lake Norman region  embrace new technologies.

The chamber serves as a hub and conduit for businesses around Lake Norman, including Cornelius, Davidson,  Denver, Huntersville, Mooresville and Troutman. The chamber has been in existence for over 30 years.

Sisson replaces Jeff Tarte as volunteer chair of the 900-member chamber.

The chamber’s annual gala will take place Feb. 20 at the Peninsula Club.

“With a thriving real estate market, strategic infrastructure investments, and proactive initiatives by the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the region is well-positioned for economic prosperity in 2025. Businesses and residents can look forward to a year of opportunities and growth, contributing to the area’s ongoing success,” Sisson said.
