Aquesta Bank has hired Bob Branch as its Raleigh market president. Aquesta entered the market in January of 2018 with the hiring of commercial relationship banker Cynthia Nation. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Branch has  more than 35 years of experience in the industry. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Wake County Market Leader for NewBridge Bank. his experience also includes serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer for Capstone Bank and First South Bank. Prior to assuming these roles, he held various management positions at Centura Bank, Triangle Bank, and Bank of America. Aquesta Bank is the largest community bank headquartered in Mecklenburg County and has seven full service branches in Davidson, Huntersville, Cornelius, Mooresville, Charlotte and Wilmington as well as loan production offices in Raleigh, Greenville and Charleston.
