Mecklenburg County scores big in tourism spending statewide
Aug. 21. North Carolina visitor spending broke records in 2023, according to data released by the NC Department of Commerce. Statewide jobless rate in July was 3.7%
July’s unemployment rate in North Carolina was 3.7 percent, increasing 0.1 of a percentage point from June’s revised rate. The national rate increased 0.2 of a percentage point to 4.3 percent.
