Majesty Rose is set to release her debut EP in June and is planning a tour through her personal business, Majesty Rose Music.

April 18. Race fans can sing an a cappella rendition of the U.S. national anthem to become one of five winners selected to perform during the 10 Days of NASCAR Thunder at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Auditions will be held 5-7 p.m. today at Walmart on Callabridge Court in Charlotte.

The auditions are part of the 12-city Share a Coke and a Song Superstar Tour presented by Walmart, Coco-Cola and Sprint. Each stop is packed with interesting displays and attractions, including the Sprint Cup trophy, appearances by NASCAR Hall of Fame drivers and an interactive NASCAR simulator. Fans will also have a chance to win race tickets.

“American Idol” finalist and North Carolina native Majesty Rose will help kick off the tour and provide performance tips to auditioning fans.

Another Lake Norman-area tour stop is scheduled for May 3 in Mooresville.

The 10 Days of NASCAR Thunder festival will be held May 20-29 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
