Feb. 7. The Town of Davidson is painting a rosy picture for local artists and businesses participating in its annual April is for Arts event.

Set for Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28, the celebration brings thousands of people to the Annual Gallery Crawl and Art on the Green.

A juried art festival features booths filled with work from artists throughout the region. The weekend includes live music and food.

Sponsors are needed as well as artists.

Applications are now available online. Hard-copy applications for both artists and businesses are at Davidson Town Hall. Deadline to apply: 5 pm March 1.
