March 22. Lake Norman Economic Development has launched AscendLKN, a workforce campaign focused on educating the Lake Norman community on various career pathways, including how to advance in the world of advanced manufacturing.
The website, www.ascendlkn.com is a way to learn more about the field and the future of this vocation in the Charlotte region. AscendLKN will serve as a resource to students, parents and even other community members that are looking to understand more about a career in advanced manufacturing.
Partners include Charlotte Works and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
