Dec. 2. Carol Shinn is the new Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer at Newton-based Peoples Bank. With more than 35 years in the banking industry, Shinn joined Peoples Bank in 2015 having roles including Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Director of Deposit Operations.

Peoples Bank has branches in Denver, Huntersville and Mooresville.

Shinn will be responsible for overseeing the Bank’s information technology, data analytics, deposit operations, digital banking, project management, and more.
