Learn Music launched in 2014

July 29. Learn Music, a Cornelius-based music instruction school, is observing its 10th anniversary in August. Founded by Cornelius native Adam Wilson, the studio has taught over 2000 students of all ages, supported over 75 music students through their partnership with the Cain Center, hosted over 60 recitals, and organized 31 concerts for their student rock bands.

A staple of the Learn Music experience is its rock band program, Learn Music Legends. Legends provides students with the opportunity to develop both music and life skills by collaborating with other students their age. Learn Music supports 15 student bands and avidly continues the tradition of unconventional band names.

A 10th anniversary open house will be held at the studio on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Live entertainment and refreshments will be provided.
