July 16. U.S. News & World Report has ranked Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation at No. 7 on the “Best Hospitals for Rehabilitation” list. For the second year in a row, Carolinas Rehabilitation has earned top 10 recognition, improving from No. 9 in 2023.

The designation puts Carolinas Rehabilitation among the top 1 percent of rehabilitation hospitals in the nation, as well as being the highest-ranking rehabilitation hospital in the Southeast and the only ranked hospital in the Charlotte region.

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is also being recognized as the “Best Hospital” in the Charlotte metro region for the eighth consecutive year. In addition, both Atrium Health Cabarrus and Atrium Health Pineville were named in the top five. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center tied for the top spot in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem region.
