Dec. 13. The University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business has recognized Beth Bledsoe, senior vice president and chief people officer for MSC Industrial Supply Co., with its Distinguished Alumni Award.

The award was presented to Bledsoe recently by Dr. Mazen Aziz, managing director of the university’s Master of Human Resources program.

USC’s Distinguished Alumni Award honors graduates who have demonstrated a history of exemplary work in their professional careers. Bledsoe is a 1995 graduate of the university’s Master of Human Resources program

At MSC, Bledsoe has responsibility for all aspects of Human Resources, supporting the strategy and performance of the organization by attracting and developing talented associates, driving associate engagement, managing change and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.

She was named senior vice president and chief people officer in 2020.
