New NSI facility in Huntersville

Dec. 7. Huntersville-based NSI Industries, a leading provider of electrical, HVAC, and building technology product solutions, has officially moved into its new 152,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center on Reese Boulevard.

“NSI has grown exponentially over the past several years, and we needed both office and distribution space to accommodate that growth,” explained G. R. Schrotenboer, CEO.

The new location in The Park-Huntersville allows the company to consolidate all its warehousing needs into a new, streamlined distribution operation, while creating a better experience for our employees.

Background

In the past year, NSI has acquired several industrial companies in the Northeast, including SUPCO, Duro Dyne, Metallics and Lynn Electronics.

NSI was founded in Huntersville in 1977 with 14 employees. Today the company has more than 1,150 team members in 17 locations across 11 states and Canada.
