Dec. 6. State Fair Mini Donuts Inc., 20468 Chartwell Center Drive Suite S, Cornelius, has a holiday pop-up near the ice rink at Birkdale Village for the season.

The small doughnuts fried and then flash frozen; conveyer ovens on site heat them to the perfect temperature in seconds.

State Fair MiniDonuts hours are  3-10 pm Monday – Friday;10am -10 pm  Saturdays; noon – 7pm Sundays.

Birkdale on Ice  is open through Jan. 16.
