Context
This is by far the highest listing in Cornelius—not to mention Charlotte—although no one can be sure what price it will fetch.
A one-of-a-kind Mediterranean style villa on Jetton Road sold for $7 million in a private transaction back in November of last year. That home also had spectacular views of Lake Norman, as well as five bedrooms and 6.5 baths in more than 12,000 square feet of space.
—The priciest listing right now in Charlotte is $6 million. It’s a four bedroom, six bath home in 7,780 square feet on Colville Road.
—The next-highest-price listing in Cornelius is $4.35 million on Enclave Oaks Court, not far from Charles Towne Lane. The house has six bedrooms and seven baths in 7,780 square feet. Ben Bowen with Sotheby’s has the listing.
This is not just a “home” – it is a lakefront Palace! Very nice – great story!
Who in their right mind would pay 16 million for a house with an Assessed Value of 5 million?? Furthermore, the house doesn’t even seem to have a Dock for lake access!! The only thing driving the current high end market for houses in the USA with these Ridiculous Prices are the Russian Oligarchs trying to hide their money!! Where are the Feds….because they should be Investigating all of these types of Questionable Transactions!!!
