June 27. Patent attorney Ed Sisson has joined The McIntosh Law Firm in Davidson in an of counsel role after a five-year referral relationship. Sisson, who holds more than 30 US patents, spent 20 years working for Fortune 500 companies before becoming a patent and trademark attorney in 2004.

Sisson is also a co-founder of First Turn Innovations, a business incubator in Cornelius.

He has the unique experience of inventing, obtaining patents, commercializing, and defending those patents against infringers in the US and around the world.

Sisson has represented businesses from startups to large multinational corporations before the Patent & Trademark Office since 2004.
