Aug. 27. The City of Concord has awarded a $5.9 million contract to NJR Group, a New London based asphalt company, to resurface almost 62 lane miles and rehab another 69 lanes miles of roadway.

Concord’s Transportation Department staff have developed a new interactive map that shows the location and status of work is scheduled, underway, and complete. The map is available at concordnc.gov/transportation.

Last year the city partnered with Data Transfer Solutions to perform a third-party evaluation of the City of Concord maintained streets and to recommend maintenance schedules/methods to optimize the City’s budget
