Aug. 20. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College has partnered with NC Works Career Center Rowan, the city of Salisbury and the Salisbury Parks and Recreation department to provide a day of workshops aimed at preparing job seekers for the upcoming 300 Jobs Now! Job Fair. Workshop topics included resume writing, interviewing skills, and personality, communication and conflict skills.

The workshops were held today from noon to 1:15 p.m., 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., 4 to 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. The purpose of said workshops is to give attendees a leg up during the Sept. 1 job fair at the Salisbury Civic Center. This job fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the community.
